Build-A-Boat Challenge

​ It's Attack of the Kraken!! at the 8th annual Build-A-Boat Challenge

 For Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts:

Design and build a boat to row in competition against other units for the 1st through 4th place leather ribbons! Dress like Pirates, Vikings, Pioneers, Castaways, or any theme you like, and decorate your craft to try and win the coveted “Perpetual Nautical Spirit trophy”. Download the Info Packet for details.

For Cub Scouts: 

Cubs will build a BSA Regatta kit. Available at the scout shop. Bring your sailboat to the event ready to race for the 1st through 4th place ribbons. Dress like a pirate to win the costume contest prizes. Every participant gets an event patch. When the race is over Cubs can fire the cannons during the Boy Scout event. ​Service to others:

Please bring a case of water for the Boat Challenge water drive, sponsored by Crew 2546. The water is being collected to help stock up homeless shelters for the coming hot summer. You can drop the water off at registration and headquarters. Thanks in advance.

​**Important info** Parking for all spectators will be at Scorpion Bay Marina dirt parking lot, Please follow the directions of the parking attendants
