Event Details

2017 Mesa District Spring Camporee

Be a Hero

All of us are Heroes, we just need to discover our superpowers and use them for good. For this camporee, each Patrol needs to create a superhero for their Patrol name. It should have a name, superpowers, and weaknesses. Be different, don’t go for the established heroes but create new ones – for example: Taco Man, Snake Boy, or The Pillow. (Try out a superhero name generator online.)

We welcome all Scouts and Scout Troops in the Mesa District. Although for the most part the activities are geared towards the 11 to 14 year olds. We would like to especially invite the 11yr old scout Patrols to attend. We are only 30min away, so an overnight stay isn’t even required, just be here at 6:30am to check in and be at the flag/opening ceremony at 7:30am Saturday Morning. Camporees are a great opportunity to watch our Scouts work as a patrol and come together as friends, and of course have a great time.

Registration:

You should register as soon as possible. Registration will be taken online up to Saturday February 25th, 2017. When you have finished your internet registration and payment, make a copy of your registration from the website.  You will need to turn this in when you check in at the camporee site.

Cost:

The cost for the camporee is $6 per participant. A participant is defined as youth or leader attending the Camporee. It will cost $8 per participant if you register after Wednesday February 25th, 2017. Your fee is only used to pay for the awards, patches, supplies, liability insurance and the cost of the site.

Location:

The camporee will be held at the Schnepf Farm

24810 East Rittenhouse Rd.
