Troop Advancement Training - Virtual Class

Dates: 

            Nov 13, 2025 at 6:30pm AZ time (note: Arizona is not on daylight savings time.  Check when 6:30pm AZ time is where you are, we will be 2 hours behind ET on this date.)

Fee: Free

For troop leaders, troop committee members, and parents. 

We will cover national policy surrounding advancement practices and recommended processes.

We will cover:

• ScoutsBSA advancement
• The merit badge program
• Rank advancement
• Boards of review how they are conducted, organization and purpose
• and more.

Especially valuable for new leaders and parents.

This briefing will be led by Bill Nelson, Grand Canyon Council Advancement Chairman
