Saturday Morning Open Shoot
8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
- This is an open shoot only. Participants will be able to practice their skills, work on the range portion of Merit Badge requirements, or achieve higher awards.
*Optional Friday Night Merit Badge Book Portion
6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
- In order to earn the Merit Badge, some book work is required. Please attend the Friday night portion to get all the book work completed.
- Please bring your blue card for our instructors to sign. Blue cards are available for purchase at the Heard Scout Shop on the property.
CUB SCOUTS (Ages 7+):
Cub Scouts Shooting Sports Award Program (Slingshots and BB Guns)
This program will go through the requirements for your Cub Scout to earn their Shooting Sports Award based on their rank. We will have a fun time on the range reviewing safety rules, learning how to use BB guns and Slingshots, and practicing our range skills. By the end of this program, your Cub will have had the opportunity to earn their Cub Scout Shooting Sports award. Patches and pins will be available at the Scout Shop for immediate purchase.
We recommend Cub Scouts wear an activity uniform and closed-toed shoes.
Age Restrictions:
- Lions cannot use BB Guns.
- Tigers must have an adult partner at all times.
- All ages may use slingshots.
