Merit Badge College is an excellent opportunity for Scouts to earn an additional merit badge as they progress on their trail to Eagle! Several merit badge options are not always available at other events. Not all requirements may be able to be completed at MB College so leaders and Scouts need to check prerequisites carefully.

MB Counselors are experienced in the field in which they are teaching so Scouts will benefit from their expertise. Scouts should review all merit badge requirements for their chosen badge before attending and they are highly encouraged to read the merit badge pamphlet before the event.

Cost

The 2025 Merit Badge College will cost $20 per Scout. The cost will cover program materials, lunch, and an event patch. Adults who attend and are eating lunch will be charged $10 each. Registration has been extended until noon on Thursday, January 23rd. Due to food ordering deadlines, there will be no guarantee for lunch after this time. Cancellations must be made no later than noon on Tuesday, January 21st or $10 of the event fee will not be refunded.

** - MANDATORY: For Scouts enrolling in Digital Technology merit badge, they MUST have completed requirement 1 that states: "view the Personal Safety Awareness 'Digital Awareness' video (with your parent or guardian's permission)" BEFORE Merit Badge college. Each Scout will need to have written documentation (see attachment to the right) signed by their parent or guardian that they [1] have watched the video and [2] the parent or guardian gives permission for them to fully engage in the badge's online requirements at Merit Badge College. Scouts will not be permitted to participate without this signed permission slip to be turned in at Merit Badge College check-in.
