2018 Winter Wood Badge

Event Details

What is Wood Badge? Advanced Adult Leadership Training for Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing, and Varsity volunteers and professionals. It will help you be the best leader you can be for the youth you serve! Wood Badge is FUN!


Who is Eligible for Wood Badge? Any adult Scouter, registered with the Boy Scouts of America, who has received the basic training for his or her position in Scouting.


How Much Does it Cost? While the skills and concepts you will develop are priceless, the course costs $220 per person. A deposit of at least $50 is required at time of registration. Limited partial-fee scholarships are available based upon need through the Glacier’s Edge Council Wood Badge Association.


When and Where Is it? January 26-28, 2018 at Camp Indian Trails,
Janesville, WI and February 23-25, 2018 at Ed Bryant Scout Reservation,
Mauston, WI. All six days are required to complete the practical phase of the training.
