These Virtual Merit Badge courses are for all Scouts who were scheduled to attend 2020 Summer Camp at Fort Steuben Scout Reservation. Courses will be held using Zoom!

The Virtual Merit Badge Program will be held throughout the three weeks in July when camp was scheduled to take place. Each week will provide a different selection of Merit Badge courses for Scouts to participate in. Just like our normal Merit Badge Schedule, courses will meet each day throughout the week. If Scouts attend all of their daily courses and complete their homework, they can earn Merit Badges that they would have earned at camp!  

Please Note: In order to participate, a scout must have their parent or legal guardian complete Part A of the medical form. This form does not require a physician's signature!

Scouts may register to take courses from multiple weeks -- no more than 3 classes per week per scout -- with a cap of 5 total classes overall. Additional class sections may be added if demand for a particular badge is high.

**There will be a $15 fee for scouts taking Basketry and Wood Carving. This fee covers the kits needed to complete these merit badges. Kits will be available for pick up at the Sandscrest Scout Reservation Scout Shop in the Wheeling area, or you may contact Cole Coates ccoates@westliberty.edu or Bret Nadolski bret.c.nadolski@gmail.com to make other arrangements.
