Cub Scout Resident Camp

Event Details

Woodland Trails Scout Reservation is located one hour West of Dayton, Ohio, on a beautiful twelve hundred acre spread of the most stunning combinations of hardwood forests, fields, and streams. The Miami Valley Council has operated summer resident camps at this property since 1959. Today, we continue our proud heritage of operating one of the premier Scouting facilities in the Midwest, while still being among the most affordable camps in the nation.

Woodland Trails Scout Reservation is the only camp in southwest Ohio that offers an ATV Safety program as part of our Boy Scout Resident Camp program. Our camp is also one of four camps in the nation that offer both an ATV program and a horsemanship program as part of our program offerings.

Along with the normal boating options found at Scout camps, Woodland Trails offers stand up paddle boards and an Aquaventure Park that is home to a giant 14 foot iceberg and several other inflatable aquatic elements for climbing and group fun.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math can be found in our newly created STEM Center. Robots, video games, space exploration and more can be found within the doors to our center. Through a partnership with Wright Patterson Air Force Base we are also able to provide Scouts with opportunities to view and use amazing technology such as night vision goggles and even civilian drones.

Woodland Trails provides adventure like none other. Our staff has consistently been rated highly in areas of customer service and on merit badge instruction. We believe that the experience you get at Woodland Trails should be an experience rarely found anywhere else. If your troop rotates camps each year, be careful when you choose Woodland Trails, you may never want to leave.

Questions about our summer camp opportunities can be sent to camping@miamivalleybsa.org and a member of our team will respond to you.
