Baseball Game and Clinic

This year’s Scout Day with the RedHawks will be held on Saturday, August 3rd as we watch our very own FM RedHawks take on the Winnipeg Goldeyes at Newman Outdoor Field.  The baseball clinics will consist of RedHawks team members running Pitching, Fielding, and Hitting stations. Bring your glove!  Sorry dad, school age boys only on the field!

Schedule for the day: 
Check for baseball clinics begin at 11 am .  Two baseball clinics will be run at 11:15 and 12:15, Each baseball clinic will be followed by an Autograph Session with the RedHawks! (tentatively)  Your group will be assigned to one of each of the clinics as you arrive. While your group isn’t participating in the baseball clinic – you will get a chance to tour the stadium, press box and museum.  This year all participants will be asked to temporarily leave the stadium by 2 pm for game setup.  Gates open up again at 5:00 pm.  The game starts at 6:00 pm.

Make this a family outing or bring your entire Den, Pack, Troop or Crew to the RedHawks game.

All Cub Scouts, Scouts, BSA, Venturers and their families are invited to enjoy an afternoon and evening of baseball with the RedHawks. Package cost is $10 for a General Admission or you can upgrade to Reserved Seating for $15. Cost includes ticket to the game, a RedHawks Scout Day Patch, clinic with RedHawks players for the boys, and a food voucher redeemable for a hot dog, chips, and drink.  

Campout after the Game at Newman Field

Cub Scouts, Scouts, BSA, Venturers and Explorers can campout on the field after the game.  The RedHawks staff will show a movie on the media board.  After the game everyone will exit the stadium.  Groups that are staying overnight can get their tents, sleeping bags, snacks, etc from their vehicles and then will be allowed back into the stadium.  A continental breakfast of juice and donuts will be served by the RedHawks staff in the morning.  Cost for camping adventure is an additional $3 per person.  All BSA rules for camping must be followed during this campout including leadership requirements.
