CAMP BABCOCK HOVEY

COVID-19 CHANGES:

Due to COVID-19 NYS and BSA guidelines, for 2020 this will only be a daycamp event.
Group and program size restrictions, social distancing, and mask requirements will also be mandated and enforced for the safety of ALL attendees and staff. Webelosree 2020 and Babcock-Hovey Staff reserve the right to require anyone NOT following the mandates to leave camp immediately uppon request

1. The 2020 Webelosree will be a daycamp only event.

2. Masks and social distancing will be required and enforced.

​3. Units must choose the same pins and travel together in patrols to be assigned by Gopher.

4. Registration WILL BE CLOSED once our 100 attendee limit is reached OR on September 18th 11:59pm on 247scouting.com (whichever comes first) to allow for safe scheduling. No attendees will be added once the limit has been reached.

5. Pins will not be handed out this year. Unit leaders will be responsible for obtaining the pins for all scouts who met the requriements.

6. Pack your own lunch AND dinner. Since there is no camping for this event, keep food options and prep as simple aspossible.

7. Family camping is still available through the Babcock-Hovey reservation portal separate from this event. 

The Webelosree is a once yearly event held at Camp Babcock-Hovey for first year and Arrow of Light Webelos interested in a day of fun Scouting Advancement Activities. This event is a great opportunity for Webelos scouts to complete multiple adventure pin requirements or electives in preparation for crossing over to scouts. 

Webelosree begins with check in at 8:00am Saturday and is a full day of program and activities ending around 7:30pm. This is a bring your own lunch event. The Trading Post will be open for coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks.

- Check in Saturday morning 8-9am, check out by 7:45pm

- Cost is $16 per Webelos and $12 per Parent/Guardian
