FALL CAMPOREE 2019

SEARCH AND RESCUE

 

September 27-29, Weaver Lodge, Rum River Scout Camp
Cost: $15 for Scouts; $10 for Adults and Webelos
Scouts check-in on Friday at 6:00pm; Webelos check-in on Saturday at 8:00am

 

Learn about how Search and Rescue Command Centers are established and how they function 
Participate in simulations where each patrol is a Search and Rescue team assigned an objective 
Use a map to define search grids, navigate and communicate position information 

Scouts who wish to earn the Search and Rescue merit badge at this event should bring the merit badge worksheet with requirements 1 – 4 completed prior to the camporee.  The worksheet can be printed at the following link: http://www.usscouts.org/usscouts/mb/worksheets/Search-and-Rescue.pdf

They should also bring an Application for Merit Badge (Blue Card) signed by their Unit Leader

 

Each patrol should have a song and skit to perform at the campfire

 

Adult Leader Specific training will also be offered at no additional cost.  Please indicate if you plan on attending this training during registration.
