Base Camp will host four homeschool field trip days during the 2016-2017 academic year. This registration is for the two sessions this fall and winter, and there will be an additional registration for the coming spring sessions. If you cannot attend these dates feel free to make a reservation for your specific homeschool group or co-op. Our minimum group size for most activities is just ten.

Below are the descriptions for our homeschool offerings. There will be programs specific to elementary ages (6-12 years) and middle to high schoolers (13-18). Middle and high school students may elect to participate in the elementary program; but elementary students may not register for the older program (physical and behavioral maturity is required).

Each field trip will begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 2:00 PM. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM and pre-registration is required. Parent/Adult registrants are not required to remain onsite, but are welcome to observe the activities throughout the day. For adults dropping youth off, we request that you accompany your children into the building for check-in (please do not let them walk up on their own). All youth participating in the program must have a waiver form signed by their parent or guardian (separate forms for each youth). Participants should wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing – dressing also for the weather if your program indicates outdoor activities. In addition, it is recommended to bring a water bottle and bag lunch.
