Information
Join us for our incredible Down on the Farm Day Camp! If your Scout wants to earn the Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Patch, attending Day Camp is one of the requirements!
Camp is open to all Boys and Girls (Cub Scouts) entering the 1st – 5th Grade. ***Please note that Tiger’s (Scouts in 1st grade in Sept) must be accompanied full time by their parent/guardian (as a volunteer). If you're not currently a Scout, you can attend camp by filling out a membership application.
Early registration closes on May 31st, final registration closes on July 26th.
Cub Scouts will play and participate in:
- Valuable Cub/ Scout Skills & Crafts
- Earn the Shooting Sports Award in
- Archery (shooting every day)
- BB Guns (shooting every day)
- Science/Culture Experience
- Wood projects
- Make new friends
- Meet Boy scouts from different troops
DATE: August 2nd - August 6th, 2021
TIMES: Day Camp Runs from 8:30am - 3:30pm
Campers
- Drop Off: 8:00-8:30 am
- Program: 8:30 am-3:30 pm M, Tu, W, F 12:00 pm-6:00 pm on Th
- Pick Up: 3:30-3:45 pm M, Tu, W, F Family joins for picnic dinner 6:00 pm Th
Volunteers 7:30 am to 4:30 pm M, Tu, W, F 11:00 am 7:00 pm Th
Thursday Dinner and Campfire Program
- Arrive between 5:30 pm-6:00 pm
- Program 6:00 - 6:30 pm
- Depart with Scouts 6:45 pm
- Bring your own dinner for your Scout and family

REGISTRATION FEES/COST
Registration includes all activities and materials, Camp T-shirt, and patch.
Cub Scouts
On Time Registration (Now - May 31) $125.
Late Registration (June 1 - July 26) $150
Tags, (Tag Along Siblings)
Younger siblings are welcome to come participate in program while older brother and sister are having fun at camp. This also allows mom or dad to volunteer and make camp a great experience for the family.
TAGS do have a fee of $20 and it covers a T shirt and Patch as well as adult supervision for the week.

Adult Volunteers
- Day Camp is 100% volunteer run. Adult and Jr. Helper volunteers are needed to make this a great camp for all!
- Adults may help as
- den leaders (escort and help Cub Scouts at various stations)
- station leaders (Teach Cubs how to complete projects and/or perform activities)
- Refund of $65 against your Cub Scout registration fee for camp, You will receive a credit on your bank card or check about 6-8 weeks after camp closes.
- Adult Volunteer Requirements. Being an Adult Volunteer is a fun and rewarding experience. But there are some requirements to ensure the safety of all Day Camp Participants:
- BSA Registered- To be an adult volunteer you must be BSA registered. If you’re leader with your pack or troop you most likely are already registered. If you’re a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle of a cub scout and are not involved with the pack or troop you need to fill out an application. If you filled out an application to volunteer at camp last year you need to do it again this year (BSA Rule not mine) Down load the BSA Adult Member Application on the right side of the screen under attachments.
- Current Youth Protection Training (YPT) Certification for all Adults. You’ll need to send a copy of your certificate with your registration. Don’t worry if you have one, training is online. Link is on the right side of the screen under attachments.
- Directions once you click on the link: Create an account. Click on Menu in the upper left. Then click on my dashboard. Your training should now be on the screen. Click on Youth protection training certification take course. Follow instructions on course page to take course and print certification. Please note this class takes about an hour.
- Orientation– To help make this a safe, fun and memorable event for the Cubs, all volunteers must attend at least one orientation/Training meeting, dates and times to be announced.
- Read and sign acknowledgement of Den Leaders Guide. Link to the guide is on the right side of the screen under attachments.

Jr. Helper Volunteer Requirements
- For Jr. Helpers 6th-12th grade you must be a registered BSA youth. If you’re registered as a Boy Scout, Sea Scout, Venture Scout or Explorer Scout you will not need to fill out a youth application. All other youth must fill out a Youth Application. Link to the form is on the right side of the screen under attachments.
- Training Session– To help make this a safe, fun and memorable event for the Cubs, all volunteers must attend at least one Training meeting, dates and times to be announced.

Tag Program (For Volunteer kids under 1st Grade)
- Siblings of our registered cub scouts are called Tag-a-longs or “Tags”. Tags may only attend camp if their parent is volunteering
